Former OSU receiver Ted Ginn Jr. will bet you 10k he’s faster than you

Ted Ginn Jr. was a speedster at Ohio State, and he’s made an even bigger name for himself in the NFL. His pure speed and quickness made him almost an impossible cover at the collegiate level.

That said, the New Orleans’ wide-receiver is ready to bet $10,000 that he’s quicker than you as well. Let’s just say the vast majority of people would stand no chance against Ginn Jr., but there are those that have posted better times than Ginn.

At the 2007 NFL combine, Ginn posted a 4.28 40-yard dash. The Bengals first-round pick John Ross has the NFL Combine’s 40-yard dash record, somehow running a 4.22.

That said, Ginn may race anyone, but he may not beat anyone.

Ginn already has one taker as well. The speedster challenging the NFL receiver is Matt Boling, who is committed to the University of Georgia.

Per Bleacher Report, Boling “set the national and Texas state records for the 100-meter dash with a 10.13-second time earlier this month. He previously ran a 9.98-second time, though that was wind-aided.”

This is the race the people want.

It’ll be interesting to see if this challenge ever amounts to an actual race, or if this thing gets legs at all. It would be pretty interesting and comical to see some of actual races get off the ground.
