Just a couple of weeks after announcing his intentions to transfer from Oklahoma, we now know where quarterback Spencer Rattler will be heading next.
Rattler will be continuing his college football career at South Carolina, he announced via social media Monday night.
One of the nation’s most highly touted recruits coming out of high school, Rattler was benched at halftime earlier this season against Texas, in favor of freshman Caleb Williams. Williams would finish the season as the Sooners’ starting quarterback, leading many to expect Rattler’s transfer to another program.
Once considered a potential No. 1 overall pick in the 2022 NFL draft, Rattler will now try to resurrect his draft stock in the SEC.
