Former Ohio State tight end Nick Vannett reportedly signs with Broncos

We have more NFL free agent news for you as it pertains to former Ohio State players. There’s not a whole lot of information coming out in the sporting world today, but the signing of NFL free agents is still occurring.

The latest former Buckeye to reportedly ink a deal is former tight end Nick Vannett. According to the NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport he has signed a two-year deal with the Denver Broncos.

Vannett played for Ohio State from 2011-2015 under Urban Meyer and won a national title his senior season. He was drafted by the Seattle Seahawks in the fourth round of the NFL draft and played three seasons in there before being traded to the Pittsburgh Steelers in September of 2019.

Now, he’ll be joining former Ohio State tight end Jeff Heuerman as well as other former Buckeyes Dre’Mont Jones and Tyvis Powell.
