If you’ve watched the NFL Draft over the last few years, you may know that they often have special guests announce some of the picks.
Well, according to an announcement found on Twitter today from @NFL345, that will be happening again, and the good news for all Ohio State fans is that the program will have four former players among the 64 guests that include “legends” and active players this year.
Among those with scarlet and gray ties taking their turn at the podium include Eddie George, Santonio Holmes, Nick Mangold and Orlando Pace. Each will be picking for their respective teams they were most closely tied to during their NFL playing career.
Here is the complete list of which round and for what team:
Eddie George, Round 2, Tennessee Titans
Santonio Homes, Round 2, Pittsburgh Steelers
Nick Mangold, Round 2, New York Jets
Orlando Pace, Round 2, Los Angeles Rams
Now, not only will Ohio State have the opportunity to have a slew of players selected in the 2019 NFL Draft, it’ll also be well-represented up on stage with the announcements as well.
