Former Ohio State DT Tracy Sprinkle to get another chance with Chiefs

Former Ohio State defensive tackle and captain Tracy Sprinkle has a new lease on his attempts at an NFL career according to an announcement on Twitter by his agent. He will be heading to the Kansas City Chiefs to take part in their rookie minicamp according to a story appearing on Eleven Warriors.

The story also confirms through sources that he has other tryouts lined up should things not work out in Kansas City.

Sprinkle hoped to be drafted after the 2017 season but instead had to settle for a contract as an undrafted free agent with the Carolina Panthers in 2018. He didn’t catch on there and recently tried to revive his career with the Atlanta Legends of the now defunct Alliance of American Football.

Now he gets another chance to compete with draft picks and other undrafted free agents this fall. Good luck to Sprinkle as he tried to make good on this newest opportunity.
