Former Ohio State defensive lineman Dre’Mont Jones signs rookie contract with Broncos

As we get closer and closer to NFL camps and further and further away from the 2019 NFL Draft, we’re starting to see a lot of the draft picks officially ink deals with the teams that signed them.

Former Ohio State defensive lineman Dre’Mont Jones is the latest former Buckeye to sign, putting pen to paper on a deal with the Denver Broncos via a release on Twitter.

The deal is a four-year one worth $4.188 Million that includes a $1.066 Million signing bonus, as first reported by Aaron Wilson of The Houston Chronicle.

Jones was taken in the 3rd round by the Broncos after having a stellar career in Columbus. The news of Jones’ signing now leaves just Nick Bosa as the lone former Buckeye to sign a rookie contract. We’ll be on the hunt for that as soon as news breaks.
