Former Ohio State DE Chase Young records first career NFL sack

Former Ohio State and current Washington defensive end Chase Young is already a problem in the NFL. It took all of less than a complete quarter for the former Heisman finalist to take down his first NFL QB.

And it was vintage Young. On a 3rd and 5 opportunity for the Philadelphia Eagles, he showed off his explosiveness and strength by pulling off a spin move, then bulldozing his way into the backfield where he took down Eagles’ quarterback Carson Wentz, causing a fumble that was retained by the Eagles.

In case you didn’t see this memorable first for the reigning Big Ten Defensive Player of the Year, you can watch it by clicking on the below video tweet shared by The Checkdown.

Well done Chase. We’re going to go out on a limb and say this won’t be the last sack we see from Young this year. Heck, we might even see another before Sunday ends.
