Former Ohio State DB Kendall Sheffield to go through workout for NFL scouts

Former Ohio State defensive back Kendall Sheffield will be participating in a workout at the Woody Hayes Athletic Complex in front of a handful of NFL Scouts. This according to Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network.

The workout will take place on April 11 at 9AM and will be Sheffield’s second chance to show NFL scouts his blazing speed.

Sheffield suffered a partially torn pectoral muscle during the bench press at the NFL Combine and had to sit out the rest of the on-field drills. As Ohio Stat’s school  for the track program’s 60-yard dash, he should contend for a time faster than that run by Parris Campbell.

Here’s wishing Sheffield luck on a second chance at showing the NFL types what he can do.
