Former Ohio State basketball player Jae’Sean Tate drops hammer dunk in Summer League game

It’s no secret we like to see former Ohio State players succeed, especially those that gave everything they had for the program. One of those such players is former forward Jae’Sean Tate. He may have been a bit undersized for his position, but his work on the boards, down in the post, and on defense often lit a fire under the rest of his teammates.

Unfortunately, his size didn’t afford him a chance at cracking an NBA roster, but he might he’s got a bit of a second chance now, getting an opportunity to play with the Denver Nuggets in the Las Vegas Summer League.

And wouldn’t you know it, Tate has his motor going yet again — as if there was any question. Watch as Tate grabs a rebound and goes coast-to-coast to throw down a right-handed thunder dunk.

With more plays and effort like this, maybe the brass in the Mile-High City will open up a roster spot for one of the most beloved OSU players in recent history.
