Former Nottingham Forest academy player Yassine En-Neyah has found himself a new club following his release from the City Ground.
The 21-year-old winger has joined Irish club Shelbourne after his release from Forest.
En-Neyah joined the Reds academy in 2017 and was one of a number of youngsters to feature against Chelsea in the FA Cup back in January 2020.
Brennan Johnson and Alex Mighten - both expected to have large roles with the first-team this season - started at Stamford Bridge, whilst En-Neyah was a used substitute along with fellow youngster Tyrese Fornah.
Also included on the substitutes' bench were Liam Sole and George Shelvey.
En-Neyah, who has Irish citizenship and has represented Ireland at under 16 level, replaced Brennan Johnson on that day at Stamford Bridge.
The two academy team-mates could not, however, have experienced more different stories in recent months.
Last year Johnson enjoyed a positive season in-front of goal with Lincoln City as the Imps fought for promotion from League One; En-Neyah, on the other hand, endured another season of youth football at the Nigel Doughty Academy.
Speaking about his involvement in London 19 months ago, En-Neyah said: "It was a dream, I couldn't believe myself when I was involved with the first team the day before the game.
"I loved it, it was the best experience of my life. I was nervous at the start but as soon as I stepped on to the pitch, I got into the game and I was fine."
En-Neyah started his career with Corduff in Blanchardstown before joining Forest and he was seen as one of Forest's brightest talents having impressed consistently within Andy Reid's under-23 side.
The young attacker, who can play out wide or centrally, provided plenty of goals and assists in the youth ranks and will be a valuable asset for Shelbourne in the Irish First Division.
