Former Nottingham Forest striker Ross McCormack in demand

Former Nottingham Forest striker Ross McCormack is reportedly a target for five clubs.

The Scotland international left Aston Villa this summer after three years at Villa Park and is now a free agent.

According to TEAMtalk, newly-promoted Charlton Athletic, Reading, Wigan Athletic, Ipswich Town and Coventry City are interested in the 32-year-old.

It's also reported clubs in his homeland are interested in the former Fulham and Leeds United man.

McCormack, the report claims, is ready to snub a move to Asia in favour of staying in the United Kingdom.

He has previously spent time on loan at Australian sides Central Coast Mariners and Melbourne City.

McCormack spent the latter half of the 2017-18 season on loan at Forest , netting once in seven appearances.

He joined Villa from Fulham in 2016 for around £12 million, but featured just 24 times and only scored three goals.
