Former Nottingham Forest player Jermaine Jenas maintains footie5 lead against Sam Quek

Well no one would have expected another low-scoring week in the footie5 - but there were two huge upsets last weekend.

Jermaine Jenas narrowly beats Sam Quek to the win last weekend thanks to Neil Lennon's Celtic winning 3-1 at home to Hearts.

The footie5 ambassadors thought they had a decent chance of seeing double figures at least with their predictions.

With Forest seeing off Fulham at the Craven Cottage, all eyes were turned to the Premier League and Scottish Premier League action.

Both predicted Man United and Tottenham to win their home matches against their respective under-performing oppositions.

Oh, how wrong were we.

Man United fumbled in ironic fashion thanks to Patrick Van Aanholt's injury-time winner at Old Trafford to give Crystal Palace their first league win at Sir Matt Busby Way since December 1989.

Also, it is the first time in Premier League history United conceded a 90th-minute winner at home.

How's the wheel Ole?

Zero points for both Jermaine and Sam - though we have a feeling Liverpool fan Sam will not mind too much.

Tottenham suffer their first defeat of the season to Newcastle United.

Both Sam and Jermaine predicted a clean sheet along with a comfortable two-goal margin against the Magpies but Spurs seemed to have forgotten to have read the script.

Joelinton scores his first goal for the Toon and Steve Bruce is all smiles without having to fall back on the weekend's cricket.

A 3-1 Liverpool win helped Sam and Jermaine get a point apiece after they both predicted 3-2 wins for the Reds.

Over in the SPL and both went for a Celtic win - except Jermaine came up trumps with his 3-1 prediction.

Two own goals from Hearts and Conor Washington's consolation goal helped Jermaine get the three points for the correct score and enough for this weekend's footie5 win.

Full-time result: Jermaine 5-3 Sam

As it stands: Jermaine 25-19 Sam
