Former Nottingham Forest midfielder Pajtim Kasami is said to have “come to his senses” and returned to FC Sion.
The 27-year-old was one of nine players sacked by the club after reportedly refusing to sign an agreement for a wage cut during the indefinite suspension of the Swiss top-flight.
He has since been linked with a return to Evangelos Marinakis’ Olympiacos, who he joined the Reds on loan from in the 2016/17 campaign.
However, Le Matin claim four of the players who were axed by Sion “for refusing partial unemployment have finally found an agreement with the club president”.
They list Kasami - said to be the highest paid player in the squad - Emir Lenjani, Birama Ndoye and Mickael Facchinetti as the quartet to return and accept “the conditions of partial unemployment”.
Owner Christian Constantin is quoted as saying: “They have come to their senses.”
The Swiss league was stopped on March 1 after the government banned gatherings of more than 1,000 people.
Sion are eighth in the 10-team Swiss Super League and only four points clear of the relegation zone with 13 games left to play.
Kasami made 25 league appearances for Forest during his loan spell from Olympiacos.
