Former Nottingham Forest head of scouting Tommy Johnson has taken on a similar role at League One side Blackpool.
Johnson has become the Seasiders' new head of recruitment, having been linked with becoming an assistant manager to Henrik Larsson at Southend United earlier this month.
Southend's talks with Larsson are said to have come to an end when Johnson "accepted an alternative offer" - and the Shrimpers have since appointed former England defender Sol Campbell as their new boss.
Meanwhile, ex-Notts County and Derby County striker Johnson has now been confirmed in his new role at Bloomfield Road.
Johnson was appointed to Forest's scouting staff back in April, under then-Reds boss Martin O'Neill.
O'Neill was replaced by Lamouchi over the summer, and currently has Forest sat eighth in the Championship, outside the top six on goal difference alone.
Johnson has also previously had coaching and scouting roles with the Magpies, Leicester City and Blackburn Rovers.
