Former Nottingham Forest boss in frame for QPR job

Former Nottingham Forest boss Mark Warburton is currently 3/1 with the bookmakers to succeed Steve McClaren at Queens Park Rangers.

Ex-Nottingham Forest manager Steve McClaren sacked by QPR, following a string of poor results that saw the Hoops fall to 17th in the Championship.

Warburton has remained without a job since leaving the Reds more than a year ago.

Since then the former Rangers boss has been linked with roles with Bolton Wanderers, Burnley and the FA.

Ex-Tottenham Hotspur and Aston Villa boss Tim Sherwood is the bookies' favourite for the job at Loftus Road, with SkyBet.

Sherwood left his role as director of football at Swindon Town back in 2017.

Wycombe Wanderers stalwart Gareth Ainsworth and recently sacked West Brom boss Darren Moore are also in the running.
