Reported Nottingham Forest target Rob Dickie has signed for the Reds' Championship rivals QPR from Oxford United.
The 24-year-old centre-back, who was named player of the season for the the U’s, moves for an undisclosed fee and has put pen to paper on a four-year deal.
Dickie had been linked with a move to the City Ground, but it is former Forest boss Mark Warburton who has won the race for his signature.

And the defender says Warburton was a key factor in his decision.
Dickie, who started his career at Reading, told QPR’s website: “The manager (Mark Warburton) had a big influence on my decision. I got a really good feeling off him.
“I watched a lot of QPR last year. I really liked how they played and how the manager set them up. I feel this is a really good fit for me because of how I like to play.
“It feels like the right club for me.”
Warburton added: “He is a very talented young player. He has proven himself at Oxford, showing his undoubted quality, and is more than ready to step up.”
Dickie was excellent for Oxford last season as they reached the play-offs in League One, but saw their bid for Championship football fall short when they lost to Wycombe Wanderers in the final at Wembley.
Since arriving from Reading on a permanent deal in 2018, he made more than 80 appearances for the U's and had become a huge fans' favourite.
Prior to his move to the Kassam, Dickie spent time on loan at Basingstoke, Cheltenham and Lincoln City.
