Former Norway striker compares Glentoran keeper to Manual Neuer and Jan Oblak

Glentoran's Dale Coleing has been hailed as one of the best goalkeeper's in the world 'right now' by a former Premier League striker.

Jan Aage Fjortoft hailed Coleing following his performance for Gibraltar against Norway in Wednesday's World Cup qualifiers.

The Glens shot-stopper pulled off a string of brilliant saves to contain Norway before the underdogs succumbed to a 3-0 defeat.

He even managed to keep Erling Haaland at bay, the Borussia Dortmund hitman failed to get on the scoresheet.

Former Middlesbrough and Norway striker Fjortoft was impressed by Coleing's display, comparing him to Bayern Munich star Manuel Nauer and Atletico Madrid keeper Jan Oblak.

He tweeted: "The best goalkeepers in the world right now: Neuer, Bayern and Germany; Oblak, Atlético Madrid and Slovenia; Coeling, Glentoran and Gibraltar."

It took the Norwegians 43 minutes to break the deadlock through Alexander Sorloth in the 43rd minute, before Kristian Thorstvedt doubled the lead just before the break.

And Norway completed the scoring through Jonas Svensson in the 57th minute.

Next up for Coleing and Gibraltar is a trip to Montenegro on Saturday and then a home tie against the Netherlands on March 30.
