HOLLYWOOD, Fla. _ Cops were called to the home of former NFL star Antonio Brown on Monday when he got into an argument with a woman who is the mother of at least one of his children.
The argument appears to have started over her using his Bentley to take a child to school.
"The kid's not going to school," said Brown, who lives in Hollywood.
He recorded the encounter and it was posted online on TMZ.com.
"You don't drive Bentleys, this is not your life!" he told the woman, Chelsie Kyriss, whom he refers to as "Chels."
At one point, Brown grabbed gummy candies shaped like penises and threw them toward Kyriss, TMZ said.
Brown played with the Pittsburgh Steelers from 2010-2018 and then one game with the New England Patriots in 2019, before they released him. He was raised in Liberty City and bought a $6.6 million home in Hollywood in 2016.
Last month, Kyriss showed up at the home accompanied by police officers in order to retrieve some of her child's clothing, according to a report at Local10.com. Ch. 10 said Brown livestreamed part of that situation on his Instagram page.
Hollywood cops won't say exactly say what happened Monday _ other than to say it's not their problem.
Department spokesman Officer Christian Lata said a report won't be filed because no crime was committed and the episode doesn't require police intervention.
The "only reason officers were there were to keep the peace," Lata said. "I think it had something to do with someone he was dating or the mother of one of his children. They might have called, I'm not sure. We got there we determined no crime was committed, it was a civil matter and we explained that to the parties and we were on our way."
"Chels, here's a bag of (expletive)," Brown hollered in the video, showing off a bag of gummy candy shaped as penis.
