Former NFL receiver Chad Johnson has a bold take on the Dolphins

Former All-Pro wide receiver Chad Johnson hasn’t played in the NFL since 2011 — he was poised to play for Miami in 2012 before legal trouble and the conservative personality of head coach Joe Philbin nixed any chance that Johnson had to play for the Dolphins. If Johnson has any hard feelings for the way things ended in South Florida, they’re either against Joe Philbin or Johnson isn’t showing them.

Why? Because Johnson dropped a bombshell prediction on his Twitter timeline over the weekend — that the Dolphins would win the AFC East. We’d attach the link for everyone, but the man also known as “Ocho Cinco” had some not safe for work language involved with the bold proclamation — so we’ll just leave you with a direct link to his Twitter page and let you conduct your own detective work.

Does Johnson know something we don’t? Or is he flirting with hot takes in order to dunk on the world if the Dolphins somehow pull off a miraculous 2019 season? Either way — don’t count on this Chad Johnson prediction coming to fruition. It would be fair to say “never say never” on the subject — but Miami would need a perfect storm of ingredients to win the AFC East this season.

We could start with good old Father Time finally catching up with Tom Brady, for starters.
