On the eve of signing a contract extension that guaranteed Jeremy Smith would finish his NRL career at the Newcastle Knights, Jeremy Smith said in 2015 said the club had become important to him during his stay.

Smith joined the Knights in 2013 and played more than 47 games in the Red and Blue after stints with the Storm, Sharks and Dragons.

Smith joins Toohey's News podcast host Barry Toohey this week to look back on his playing career, and the legends of the league he encountered along the way.
