Former MSU receiver MacGarrett Kings Jr. still grinding for NFL shot

It was a few years ago when MacGarrett Kings

Jr. caught headlines attempting to get an NFL shot.

The former Michigan State receiver was filmed in 2017 outside of Miami Dolphins training camp, getting in a workout in hopes to get a training camp shot with the team.

Well, Kings is still out there grinding, back outside training camp in Miami looking to get his NFL shot.

Kings has been doing ladder drills outside the Dolphins facility in Davie, accompanied by a sign that reads, “Ready to work. Will work for free!!!!”

Kings, a Fort Lauderdale native, told WPTV’s Paxton Boyd, “It’s not for the money. It’s not for the glamour. It’s just for the love of the game.”

Kings, who had more than 1,400 receiving yards and nine TDs in his MSU career, went undrafted after finishing his career with MSU in 2015.
