The XFL, Xtreme Football League, announced their first group of players to enter the XFL draft pool. Multiple former Spartans made the pool. Most notably, former MSU QB Connor Cook is in the draft pool. Also, WR Keith Mumphery, OL Miguel Machado, and Safety Kurtis Drummond are in the draft pool as well.
The draft will be conducted on Oct. 15-16 this year.
Football fans are rather excited for the XFL to debut, for a number of different reasons. It should certainly spice things up in the world of football. Hopefully, things go better for the XFL than the Alliance of American Football (AAF) which folded in less than a year!
