When it comes to our food, some people have a lot of questions about how it was made and where the ingredients came from.
Others couldn't care less and are happy to eat anything and everything.
If you are someone who is curious about this sort of thing, then you might be enjoying the current social media trend that has seen restaurant workers sharing kitchen secrets.
One man recently claimed to have been fired from Wetherspoons for revealing how the pub chain makes certain dishes, while a KFC employee filmed an in-depth look at how the company whips up a batch of gravy.
We've also seen several former McDonald's staff members following suit, with one woman named Amber taking to TikTok to explain 'fun facts' about working for the fast food giant.
Amber, who posts on the account @mentallybrokenbetch claims she used to work at McDonald's and went on to share several drive-thru secrets she learned during her time there.
Most interestingly, she claimed that as soon as you pull forward into the drive-thru, employees can hear everything you're saying in the car - even when they put you on 'pause'.
Amber then admitted she'd heard many people insulting her and her colleagues when they thought she wasn't listening.
The young woman said: "I used to work at McDonald's and here are some fun facts that you probably didn't know.
"If you see the black disks in drive-thru, they are sensors and they actually time how long you are there, hence why we park you up because we are competing with every other drive-thru in the country.
"When you pull forward in the drive-thru we can already see you and hear you, even though we haven't said hello.
"When we actually put you on pause, because we are busy, we can still hear you - the amount of insults I heard!"
She went on to claim all of the fries are "cooked in batches" then salted.
"So if you ask for no salt, you're gonna get fresh fries," she explained.
She added that the folded eggs you get inside the bagels come ready made and are taken from a big "carton" and put on the grill and that out of everything on the menu, the apple pie takes the longest to cook.

Amber's video has since garnered more than 119,000 likes with more than 1,200 comments.
A number of other people who had previously worked at McDonald's agreed with her video.
One person said: "This was all true for the McDonald's I worked at."
Someone else replied to say that they knew about the fries, writing: "I always ask for no salt for the fresh batch."
A third was shocked to learn the drive-thru staff could hear her, saying: "They can hear you when they put you on pause, uh oh."
"That's officially me stying silent until I'm out of the drive-thru," added a different user.
