Former Manchester United striker Michael Owen delivers his prediction for PSG clash

Manchester United can secure qualification for the knock-out stages of the Champions League tomorrow night.

United welcome PSG to Old Trafford hoping to follow up their October win away in Paris.

Victory over last year's finalists would be enough for United to reach the last-16.

Michael Owen, the former United striker, is predicting a "tight" encounter with both sides eyeing up top spot and a more favourable draw in the next round.

Giving his prediction on Bet Victor, Owen said: "Manchester United go into this match knowing that a point will be enough to take them through to the next round.

"I’m sure that Sunday’s marvellous comeback away to Southampton will still have the players on a high.

"That’s good news for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer after he endured a lot of criticism over the last few weeks.

"PSG managed to get a vital 1-0 win over Leipzig last week, so they’ll be looking to another victory here to ensure they give themselves the best chance of progression to the next stage. Brazilian duo Marquinhos and Neymar should return here, which is another bonus for the Parisians.

"Again, this is another tight one to call. However, with United back in good form, I think they can take all three points and secure qualification."

Owen has backed his old club to win 2-1 on Wednesday night.
