Former Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has hinted that he has plenty of suitors ahead of his planned return to management.
The Portuguese boss left Old Trafford in December, being replaced by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, and has been out of the game since, instead focusing his attention on numerous punditry opportunities.
Mourinho intends to return to management swiftly though, likely ahead of the new season, and plenty of clubs have been attributed with interest in the experienced boss - including Ligue 1 giants Lyon and Scottish champions Celtic.
While he did not directly address the rumours concerning a specific club, Mourinho gave an update on his situation while covering the UEFA Champions League match between Liverpool and Barcelona on Tuesday evening.
“I have lots of respect for the clubs and every club that shows interest in me and contacts me and believes that I can be the right person to be with them,” Mourinho said on beIN SPORTS.

“It makes me really really proud and very respectful. In the end I will choose one but I’m not the type of person to be discussing these because I’m full of respect for everybody.
“So let’s wait and see what happens. But don’t give me the feeling you want to kick me out of beIN SPORTS!
“I prefer to play football matches. I prefer to win and to lose big matches like this one. Of course I miss it.”
Formerly of Chelsea, Real Madrid, Inter Milan and Porto, Mourinho has built a solid reputation during his managerial career and is still regarded as one of the best coaches in world football.
