Former Manchester United goalkeeper Tim Howard makes Liverpool FC title claim

With just two games left to go of the season there's still a chance Liverpool can win the title and former a Manchester United goalkeeper is hoping it's not going to happen.

Jurgen Klopp's side sit one point behind Pep Guardiola's Manchester City with just two games left to play and the majority of United fans are hoping the trophy won't be heading to Merseyside.

Another person who is hoping Liverpool aren't the ones lifting the trophy on May 12 is former United goalkeeper Tim Howard.

Howard, who also used to play for Everton and now plays in the United States for Colorado Rapids, joked to CNN: "I hope Liverpool never win a title while I'm still breathing.

"We have two teams in the form that they're both in. It'll come down to the wire. If no one has a slip up, then City wins."
