Former Manchester United under-18s coach Paul McGuinness has joined Leicester City as their Head of Player Development.
The 55-year-old led the Reds to their FA Youth Cup win in 2011 which featured the likes of Paul Pogba, Jesse Lingard and Ravel Morrison before leaving in 2016.
During his time with United, he oversaw the development of the likes of Marcus Rashford, James Wilson and Axel Tuanzebe, to name a few in his 23 years at the club.
He has spent four years as a National Coach Developer with the FA prior to his East Midlands switch following his United exit.
Training Ground Guru has revealed that he will have overall responsibility for players from the U9s to U18s team and make sure that players are ready for the transition to both the U23 and first-team squad.
He will work alongside Paul Cheney, who has been promoted to head of coach development at the club after two decades at the club.
