Former Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has praised Liverpool for their remarkable comeback against Barcelona.
The Reds trailed 3-0 heading into the second-leg of their Champions League semi-final against the La Liga champions but a 4-0 victory on the night secured a sensational fightback from Jurgen Klopp’s side.
Liverpool are now preparing for their second Champions League final in as many years and Mourinho was full of praise for the German boss.
"So many years in football management, I don't remember anything as incredible as this," he told beIN Sports.
However, Mourinho went on to say that there was a further drive behind Klopp’s success at Anfield, which came from the support he receives from the club’s hierarchy.

Mourinho was not backed in the transfer market last summer at United and ultimately a breakdown with Ed Woodward led to his demise at Old Trafford - which makes his comments on Klopp and Liverpool all the more intriguing.
"I think now, more than ever, the empathy between the manager and the club structure is the most important thing. That is fundamental.”
Former Liverpool man John Barnes agreed with Mourinho’s comments, stating that Klopp had been provided with the tools for success.

"They trust him because they have to trust him. The hierarchy have given Jurgen Klopp to make the decisions. When he tells the players to jump, they have to jump.
"Players didn't have to jump at the last club Jose was at and you can see what happened. When you give the manager the power, the players are forced to do it and no one questions him."
