Former 'Love Island' star slams participants of the show as being 'up their own a***s'

As this year's 'Love Island' contestants continue to heat up our screens, a former participant on the show has slammed the reality stars as being "up their own a***s".

Anton Danyluk has also revealed he no longer speaks to cast members from his series.

The 26-year-old, from Airdrie, appeared in the 2019 season alongside Amy Hart, Amber Gill, Callum Macleod, Michael Griffiths, Joe Garratt, Lucie Donlan, Yewande Biala, Sherif Lanre and Anna Vakili.

The personal trainer coupled up with Amy, Amber, Elma and Lucie while in the villa, before coming fifth with make-up artist Belle Hassan just days before the final.

But Anton now told Lanarkshire Live: “People come off the show, get their blue tick, get their million followers and go
so far up their a***s it’s unbelievable.

"It's quite sad, but at the same time I always appreciate the journey I had with the people in there. It doesn't matter what happened because it was unbelievable.

"I only speak to Anna Vakilli, that's it. Me and Anna are very close.

"The friendships are massive, they're really, really big in there. You think they're gonna last forever and they feel like brothers and sisters, but obviously sometimes it just doesn't end up that way."

And Anton would know all about a***s as he admitted before going on 'Love Island' that his mum, Sherrie Ann, helped shave his bum before heading to Casa Amor.

Anton revealed at the time: "I said to my mum my bum was hairy so she shaved it before I came out here.

"You go with an electric razor first and then with a normal razor.

"When I’m in a relationship, my girlfriend usually does it for me. I’ll probably ask a girl in the relationship in the first week."
