Former Love Island contestant Rosie Williams helped make history by taking part in the first firewalk on St Peter’s Square in Manchester.
Fifty fearless firewalkers raised over £15,500 for Mancunian charity We Love MCR, by taking part in a daring firewalk in the heart of the City.
A massive crowd cheering on the brave 'soles' saw each of them complete steps across 700 degree hot coals, against a backdrop of Manchester’s Central Library.

Some familiar faces braved the coals, including Deputy Lord Mayor of Manchester Cllr Donna Ludford, and TV personality Rosie Williams who took part as an Ambassador for the Charity.
Lord Mayor of Manchester and Chair of Trustees for the Charity Councillor Tommy Judge was there to oversee the event, on October 13, and gave a speech before the walkers undertook training from firewalking veterans Time4Change.

Ged Carter, Head of We Love MCR, said: “This was our first fundraising event in two years, and what a way to return.
"Congratulations to all walkers for showing incredible confidence on the coals, and exemplary fundraising by raising over £15,000.
"This will go directly to our work supporting Manchester’s fantastic communities and ambitious young people.
"It really is a case of “By Manchester, In Manchester, For Manchester.”
Rosie Williams, 29, became known when she took part in the popular TV show Love Island.
She was an Islander on Season 4 of the revived series - entering the villa on Day four and was dumped from the island on Day 20.
The Manchester based solicitor has since gone on to become an influencer and TV personality.
