Former Liverpool youth leaves Motherwell without playing a single game

Motherwell have announced the departure of midfielder Mich'el Parker, who never managed an appearance in claret and amber.

The 23-year-old joined the Steelmen in July after a few months training with the club, but he never turned out for Graham Alexander's side, despite a handful of substitute appearances.

A statement from Motherwell read: "Mich’el Parker has left Motherwell.

"The defensive midfielder signed a short-term deal in the summer, and was on the bench for three Premier Sports Cup group stage matches earlier in the campaign.

"With his contract now at an end, the former Liverpool and West Ham United trainee departs with our best wishes for the future."

Park has been on the books at a number of top clubs in England, including Liverpool, and when Alexander brought him to Motherwell he said: “He’s a young player who has been at Liverpool and West Ham but lost his way a little.

"He has some work to do but he has the ability and there’s a will from him to take this chance."
