Nottingham Forest are reportedly closing in on the signing of Lyon midfielder Houssem Aouar - a name Liverpool fans are likely to remember.
The 24-year-old has consistently been linked with an exit from his current employers in recent years, much like his ex-team-mate Nabil Fekir, and had emerged as a rumoured target for the Reds in the last two years.
Arsenal are another Premier League team to have been in the running for Aouar and apparently saw three bids rejected by Lyon for the Frenchman in the summer of 2020.
