Former Liverpool star Jose Enrique shares delight after being given the all clear

Former Liverpool defender Jose Enrique has revealed that he has been given the all clear after treatment to remove a brain tumour.

The ex-left-back was diagnosed with a rare chordoma behind his left eye last year, something which could have left him blind.

But the good news has come from his surgeon and the 33-year-old has since shared his delight via his personal Instagram account.

Enrique had to undergo surgery to remove the tumour and also had to endure sessions of radiotherapy.

However, those battles have been worth it and now he is revelling in his all-clear status.
