Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang was Arsenal's match-winner with a bizarre goal against Watford on Monday night.
He capitalised on a lapse of concentration from Ben Foster, charging down his clearance to bag the only goal in a 1-0 win.
It was far from a spectacular strike but could ultimately prove crucial in the race for Champions League football as the Gunners moved back into the top four.
Former Liverpool striker Dean Saunders hailed Aubameyang's effort as the goal of the season - despite Mohamed Salah's stunning long range strike against Chelsea just the previous day.
"Aubameyang’s goal, for me, this is going to sound stupid, is goal of the season for me," Saunders told talkSPORT.

"You look at Salah’s goal and you think, ‘how can that be better?’.
"Aubameyang has chased a lost cause, which is a goal he’s got out of nothing, closed down Ben Foster and turned it into a goal.
"A spectacular goal for me, being a striker and coaching strikers, I enjoyed that goal more than Salah’s goal.
"Because he turned a backpass, he didn’t have to do it, effort and determination, if Aubameyang like a lot of strikers didn’t chase him he [Foster] plants it forward.

"He’s made a goal out of absolutely nothing and won them the game."
Aubameyang himself admitted his goal was no match for Salah's in an interview immediately after the game.
"Tonight it is a good goal for me, I like it!" Aubameyang said.
"It was a great goal from Mo Salah, unbelievable goal.
"But I like sometimes to score one like mine. Maybe it was not an easy goal, but it was easier than Mo!"
