As we approach the end of the season, the transfer merry-go-round looks like it is starting to pick up pace – with Newcastle United looking set to be one of the busiest clubs this summer.
A whole host of names have recently been linked with the club – the latest of those being Ryan Gravenberch. The Bayern Munich midfielder has reportedly caught the interest of the Magpies as they look to bolster their midfield options ahead of a busy campaign next season.
Despite the youngster struggling for minutes since arriving in Munich last summer - Gravenberch’s talents are clear to see; tall, powerful, and great on the ball, the Dutchman could be a great addition to Eddie Howe’s midfield next season.

The Magpies, however, are not the only top side interested in the 20-year-old with both Liverpool and Manchester United monitoring the midfielder’s situation.
Former Liverpool midfielder Didi Hamann gave his verdict on the potential transfer, stating the Dutchman would be better suited joining Liverpool rather than Newcastle.
“He’s a very gifted player. I would say his best position is the number 8 and I can see Newcastle and Liverpool being interested. I think if they do offer a certain amount of money Bayern Munich might not be too keen to keep him,” Hamann told BestGamblingSites.
“He's probably got less competition in midfield at Liverpool. You need to see who they bring in but I think Liverpool probably need two to three midfield players in the summer. If Newcastle keep all their players, the player who is probably playing this position is Joelinton who has been excellent too – someone who I said a few months ago might be a perfect player for Liverpool.
“The way Newcastle is heading at the moment; it won't be easy to get into that team. That might be easier in Liverpool. I think Liverpool are more in need of such a player and midfield players in general than Newcastle are.”
