Former Liverpool midfielder on two Manchester United players Jurgen Klopp would like to sign

Danny Murphy has revealed the two Manchester United players he believes Jurgen Klopp would like to bring to Anfield.

A 1-0 win over Sheffield United yesterday afternoon handed Liverpool their seventh straight victory in the Premier League, ensuring they remain five points clear at the top of the table.

While Manchester United currently trail the Reds by 13 points in the table, and will be looking to return to winning ways in the league when they take on Arsenal on Monday night, after suffering a 2-0 defeat to West Ham last weekend.

But despite the emphatic points difference between the two, Murphy believes Klopp would be keen on bringing both Marcus Rashford and Daniel James to Anfield.

"United need more quality to catch up to their rivals but that doesn't mean they don't have any at the club," the former Reds midfielder wrote in the Mail on Sunday .

“I think Jurgen Klopp would take Marcus Rashford and Daniel James all day long.

“They would fit in with his philosophy very well.”

Rashford rose through the Old Trafford club's Academy system while James joined from Swansea in the summer for £15million.
