Former Liverpool man Ryan Babel's hilarious reaction to Alan Nyom foul in Europa League clash

Former Liverpool winger Ryan Babel showed a different way of reacting to an opponent making the most of a foul by copying the player's antics to show just how much he had over-reacted.

The incident came during Ajax's surprise 2-0 UEFA Europa League defeat to Getafe on Thursday evening when Getafe defender Allan Nyom - formerly of Watford and West Bromwich Albion - drastically over-reacted after going down under a challenge from Babel when competing for possession.

Babel, who was a popular figure during his Liverpool days, showed his strength to brush Nyom off the ball, only for the right-back to lunge himself to the ground before rolling over several times in a bid to make the most of the challenge.

Babel was immediately booked by the referee but decided to start imitating Nyom by going down to the turf himself and rolling around like Nyom had.

And after Nyom brought himself back to his feet, he began to hobble, trying to prove how much pain and discomfort he was in.

But despite having been booked, Babel was still not willing to give up with his sarcasm towards Nyom, also hobbling about as he continued to imitate the former Watford man.

Babel was certainly running the risk of being handed a second yellow card for his actions but he managed to evade another ticking off from the referee.

Babel spent four years at Anfield, in which time he racked up 146 appearances, scoring 22 goals.
