Former Liverpool forward Stan Collymore has jumped to the defence of Tottenham pair Serge Aurier and Danny Rose after Roy Keane took aim at the duo.
The former Manchester United skipper branded the two "dumb and dumber" after Spurs' defeat to Liverpool on Sunday afternoon.
Aurier conceded the penalty which Mohamed Salah converted for Liverpool’s winner at Anfield - while Rose also endured an evening to forgot up against the Eyptian.
And Keane didn't hold back in his criticism in the Sky Sports studio after the game.
"The two Tottenham full-backs were dreadful. Dumb and Dumber, I'd call them," the former Republic of Ireland international said.
"I thought they were really poor. You can't compare them to Liverpool, the two lads who are absolutely fantastic."
But Collymore was left less than impressed with Keane's comments - claiming he was "completely wrong".
"I like and respect Roy Keane but I thought he was completely wrong when he laid into Tottenham’s full-backs after their defeat by Liverpool," the former England international wrote in the Mirror.
"Spurs played well and if Heung-min Son’s effort had gone in rather than hitting the bar it would have been 2-0 and Liverpool wouldn’t have been winning because it would have been too much of a mountain to climb."
