Former Liverpool chief Damien Comolli has credited Jurgen Klopp for the Reds' 'massive rise' to become kings of Europe once again.
Comolli, who spent two years as Liverpool's director of football strategy and brought the likes of Luis Suarez and Jordan Henderson to the club, is now director of football at Fenerbache.
The Reds have improved dramatically since Comolli left in 2012, particularly since Klopp took the reigns at Anfield - guiding Liverpool from top-four outsiders to kings of Europe.

A significantly improved recruitment strategy, which has seen Virgil Van Dijk, Sadio Mane, Mohamed Salah and others drafted in, but Comolli believes that Klopp has played the biggest part of all.
“Since Jurgen Klopp came the club and team have made massive progress in terms of the talent they have acquired and the type of football they play," he told TalkSport.
“He has done incredibly well. He has created this team spirit, this determination that has taken the Premier League and Europe by storm, in a way.
“I was lucky to attend the Champions League final in Madrid for French TV and the feeling I got from this Liverpool team was they had so much determination that nothing could stop them from lifting the trophy at the end of the game.
“I think that comes from leadership, leadership being Klopp and players like Jordan Henderson and Virgil van Dijk.
“The biggest credit I will give Klopp is he’s created self-belief in the team, that nothing can stop them, and that’s very impressive work from any manager. He has been fantastic.”
