Airdrieonians have signed former Leeds United striker Eoghan Stokes as they continue building towards the League One kick-off in October.
The 24-year-old spent four years at Elland Road and was capped by the Republic of Ireland at youth level.
Stokes has also turned out for Bohemians, Derry City and Cork City in his homeland.
His arrival follows the signings of Swiss youngster Griffin Sabatini, on loan from Ukranian side SC Dnipro, and former Hearts kid Dean Ritchie.
But Stokes - whose signing is subject to international clearance - is delighted to make the move to Scotland and join Ian Murray's men.

“I’ve played with two of the boys from the team before, so I spoke to them before I came and they had nothing but good things to say about Airdrie.
