Former Leeds United keeper Nick Byrne's skills mocked on stage by Westlife bandmates

It wasn't the typical Westlife performance at the Leeds First Direct Arena on Monday.

The band - back together after a six-year hiatus - returned with their Twenty Tour, and for one member of the band it was a return to Leeds.

Before Westlife, singer Nick Byrne moved to the city in 1995 to play for Leeds United. He was here for two years.

"I had a wonderful time in this city", he told the crowd.

"It is a great city, it is really briillant and it is great to be back playing with the lads."

Nick, a goal keeper at the time, was in the FA Youth Cup winning squad of 1997. Over 20 years later though, and he didn't hesitate to showcase his ball skills on stage...

Scroll up to watch Nick's bandmates change the lyrics to mock the former Leeds keeper

After a ball was chucked on stage, Nick tries a few skills before his bandmates take shots at him to test his keeping prowess.

"You let in goals when you played for Leeds", were the lyrics Mark replaced for a verse of new song A Better Man - watch the full video above to see the whole thing!
