Hats off to 85-year-old June Wiffen, who swapped her favourite chair for a seat in a chauffeur-driven vintage car on Tuesday.
The special VIP day was organised by Jane Fitzpatrick from Annan Court care home with support from June’s family.
Jane said: “We are trying to give our residents an extra-special day which we are calling our special wishes.
“Residents are choosing their wishes with the help of family, friends and colleagues at Annan Court. We plan to give them a lovely experience which has something to do with their past and who they are.
“June’s was the first and she enjoyed every minute of it.
June has lived at Annan Court for four years and previously lived in Kirkcudbright where she and her late husband Albert had a business which included chauffeuring.
