Adam Frizzell said signing for Airdrie was an easy choice, because his ambition was matched by boss Ian Murray.
The former Kilmarnock and Dumbarton midfielder signed a deal at New Broomfield this morning, just hours after they secured the services of 20-year-old defender Scott Walker on an extended contract.
It also follows the signings of Sam Wardrop and Jordan Allan yesterday.
Frizzell, 22, made 40 senior appearances for the Rugby Park side between 2015 and 2020 before signing for Dumbarton last summer, and has also enjoyed loan spells at Livingston and Queen of the South.
He told the club's website: "I met with the manager a couple of weeks ago, and it was clear that we were in tandem in terms of our ambitions, so it was a no-brainer really!
"I like to score and create goals, and that’s what I intend to do here.
"Promotion is the bottom line - from playing against Airdrie the improvement is clear to see and their style of play suits me, so I’m pleased to come on board and I’m looking forward to pushing for promotion."
Manager Ian Murray said: "It’s another good signing for us, Adam is a young, hungry player with Premier League experience.
"He’s another player we feel we can improve, but our main focus is on improving Airdrie and we feel Adam can do that with his attributes.
"We look forward to welcoming him back for pre-season.”
