Former Jags TE Clay Harbor looking into returning to football after run on The Bachelorette

Now that his run under one of reality TV’s most popular shows, The Bachelorette, is up, former Jacksonville Jaguars tight end Clay Harbor announced that he’ll be looking to take one more crack at the gridiron this spring and summer in hopes of landing with a team for training camp. However, if that doesn’t happen, the veteran told NJ.com’s Mike Kaye that he’ll look towards the next chapter in his life after spending nine seasons in the league and having multiple runs in the process.

“I’m going to put everything into football for the next three months,” Harbor said. “If I don’t get signed by the time training camp is over or around that time, then I’m going to move on and figure out what the next step of my life is going to be.”

For those of you who didn’t watch this season’s episodes, Harbor made the decision to exit the show after the third week due to a re-aggravated wrist injury he sustained prior to joining the show. Now that he’s 100 percent healthy, Harbor has resumed training, which indicates that at least one team is interested. Ultimately, time will tell if he gets another shot, but after having runs with the Jags, Philadelphia Eagles, Detroit Lions, New England Patriots and New Orleans Saints
