Former ITV Corrie star Rebecca Ryan shows off dazzling wedding ring after stunning big day as she reunites with soap pals

Former Coronation Street star Rebecca Ryan showed off her sparkling wedding ring as she stepped out for the first time since her stunning wedding day. The actress, who played Adam Barlow's scorned ex Lydia Chambers in the ITV soap, headed out to The Lowry in Salford on Tuesday night (October 11).

Rebecca stepped out on the purple carpet ahead off to the press night performance of The Color Purple. The co-production between Leicester's Curve theatre and the Birmingham Hippodrome arrived in Manchester on Tuesday and tells the powerful and life-affirming story of courageous heroine Celie.

Abused and oppressed throughout her youth, Celie embarks on a journey through joy, despair, anguish and hope, discovering her own unique voice thanks to the incredible women in her life. From an unbreakable bond with her sister Nettie, to friendship with fiercely independent Sofia and a life-changing affair with glamorous singer Shug Avery, Celie learns to love herself.

Rebecca was seen before watching the show ready for the autumn weather as she donned a long chocolate-coloured coat with a beige and black patterned scarf around her neck. She added a pair of long black boots and a matching over-the-shoulder bag to her outfit for the evening which she held to show off her dazzling rings.

The soap beauty tied the knot with her partner Dan Acraman last month. Rebecca looked stunning in her white Vera Wang gown accessorised with a large pearl headband as she shared snaps from their special day on her Instagram after saying 'I do' at Grangefields in Ashbourne, Derbyshire.

"The most magical day!" the 31-year-old exclaimed as she posted a photo of her sensational bridal look. Co-star Sally Carman told her: "Just stunning, sweetheart." Kimberly Hart-Simpson, who plays Nicky Wheatley, shared a string of love hearts. With another picture of the newlyweds holding hands she said: "I will never be over this day!

"Truly the most amazing day of my life!!" She captioned another post: “Husband and wife. 24.09.22 – The best day of our lives.” Former Shameless star Rebecca was inundated with congratulations and compliments from her fellow Corrie stars. Mollie Gallagher, who plays Nina Lucas, wrote: “Awww congratulations.” Harriet Bibby, who plays Summer Spellman, wrote: “The most beautiful bride.” And Sally, who plays Abi Webster, also added: “Oh my darling, you look so beautiful! Congratulations!”

And former Shameless actress Rebecca wasn't the only Corrie star heading to The Lowry as she was able to enjoy a bit of a soap reunion. Daniel Brocklebank, who plays Billy Mayhew in the ITV soap, Wendy Crozier actress Roberta Kerr and Sue Devaney, known for playing Debbie Webster, also posed on the purple carpet before seeing the show.

Rebecca's fellow former Corrie stars Alexandra Mardell, who left the soap earlier this year as Emma, and Kate Connor star Faye Brookes also smiled for the cameras as the posed ahead of the first performance of the show's run in Greater Manchester. Also cuddling up for the photographers was Harriet Bubby and James Craven, who play Corrie lovebirds Summer Spellman and Aaron Sandford.
