Former ITV Corrie star Millie Gibson channels 90s icon and confesses to dropping 'F bomb' on live TV

Former Coronation Street star Millie Gibson looked sensational as she channeled a 90s icon for her appearance at the National Television Awards. Despite leaving the ITV soap last month, the Kelly Neelan actress joined many of her former co-stars at the glitzy awards bash.

Millie looked worlds away from her cobbles character as she took inspiration from Pamela Anderson for her glamourous red carpet look. The 18-year-old wore a classic black floor-length dress that showed off her hourglass figure while she coordinated the look with emerald-coloured jewellery.

She also accessorised with a matching black clutch bag and added dramatic black cat eye to her overall look. Meanwhile, Millie's blonde locks had been styled into a classic updo with her bangs framing her face. " pammy moment? @officialntas," she captioned a string of images posted to her Instagram page.

Her Corrie star bestie Tanisha Gorey, who plays Asha Alahan in the ITV soap, wrote: "you goddess," in response while Maria Windass actress Samia Longchambon added a flame and a heart emoji before writing: "hey yo there she is." Georgia Taylor, known to viewers as Toyah Habeeb, posted: "Absolute knockout my darling," as Max Turner actor Paddy Bever shared: "B eaut inside and out."

And it was because of Paddy that Millie was caught swearing live on national TV - sort of. She was sat behind the young actor, who joined Corrie after being recast as David Platt's step-son last year, as he was nominated for the Rising Star gong at the NTAs 2022. And Paddy appeared gobsmacked as he fought off stiff competition to take home the award.

After having a quick hug with co-star Sally Ann Matthews, the soap star rushed up to the stage. "Erm, wow," she said after being awarded the silverware by presenter AJ Odudu and Emma Willis. He said that he "hadn’t prepared a speech" because he didn’t think he would be able to beat the other "insane" stars nominated for the award.

The teenager went on to reveal that his role as Max is his "first ever acting job" as he thanked the cast, crew, God, and the viewers for helping him pick up his first-ever award. And Millie also appeared shocked and pleased for Paddy as she was spotted swearing before jumping from her chair and throwing her arms around the actor.

@RyanJL spotted: "You're live on ITV, please do not swear @MillieGibson01 #NTAs." And she has since admitted to her accidental error. Posting a GIF of the moment on her Instagram Story, she wrote: "That proud that I didn't drop the F bomb at all xxx."

She then shared two photos of the pair, one all glam before the ceremony and one ofter, sat in a car in their comfy clothes in dark shades, with Paddy's NTA just in the shot.

But it appears Paddy is still lost for words as he took to Instagram with a selfie. It showed a close up of his face with tears filling his eyes and dropping onto his face. "THANK YOU," he simply wrote. Corrie was quick to post on their social media: "Incredibly proud of our Paddy. Thank you once again to everyone at home for voting."
