Disgraced Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich was indicted today on corruption charges.
Blagojevich was ousted from office in January after being accused of seeking to sell Barack Obama's former US senate seat for profit.
According to the Chicago Tribune:
The criminal complaint charged Blagojevich with attempting to sell the U.S. Senate seat vacated by Barack Obama and seeking the firing of Tribune editorial writers in return for state help on the sale of Wrigley Field. The ballpark and newspaper are owned by Tribune Co.
Blagojevich showed his typical non-chalance in the face of the affair: He was at Disney World today as the indictment loomed.
