Former Illinois-Chicago forward transfers to Georgia

On March 26th, former Illinois-Chicago basketball player, Braelen Bridges, committed to Georgia.

Bridges is a 6’10, 235 pounds forward from Atlanta, Georgia. He played two seasons for the Illinois-Chicago Flames. In his 2020-21 campaign, Bridges 9.9 points per game and 4.8 rebounds per game on over 65% shooting.

The season prior, Bridges averaged 8.9 points per game and 4.8 rebounds per game. He did this while playing 34 games, each of which he started.

Bridges originally played at Northwest Florida Junior College right out of high school. He played in over 20 games his first year before sitting out his next.
