Former I'm A Celeb star Nick Knowles gives his advice to 2021 contestants
Former I'm A Celeb star Nick Knowles has given his advice to the 2021 contestants.
The DIY SOS host featured on I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! in 2018 alongside the likes of Harry Redknapp, Emily Attack, Noel Edmonds and Anne Hegerty.
This year, the show has returned to Abergele's Gwrych Castle in North Wales for the second time.
Contestants for the 21st series include Emmerdale's Danny Miller, Olympian Matty Lee and former Strictly judge Arlene Phillips, Radio DJ Snoochie Shy and Good Morning Britain's Richard Madeley and more.
So who is best to give them all advice on their time in the castle, than a former camp mate who has already experienced it all.
Speaking on ITV's Lorraine, Nick Knowles said: "Be nice to each other, be kind to each other, be supportive of each other. I was lucky that I was in the year with Anne Hegerty and Harry Redknapp. We had the loveliest group, who were just really supportive."
A picture of Nick with the 2018 crowned King of the Jungle, Harry Redknapp, appeared on the screen.
"I was talking to him [Harry] the other day about getting a Christmas tree for him," The 59-year-old added: "We talk all the time actually. This morning actually just Fluer [East] and Emily [Attack] and Sair Khan and James McVey from The Vamps all having a chat this morning on my Whatsapp group.
"So be kind to each other and support each other. The audience actually quite like it. I think everyone always thought the audience liked people to row but in actual fact the year we did it... I think people liked it.
"Actually that whole being horrible to each other is a 00's, 90's [thing]."
Lorraine then said: "We don't want snarky!"
"I know! So be kind," Nick continued: "and you'll come out the other side with the most amazing bunch of mates."
Lorraine airs weekdays on ITV from 9am and I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! continues tonight on ITV from 9pm.
