Former I'm A Celeb star calls out people who said Liverpool FC wouldn't win a trophy

Former I'm A Celeb star and Olympian Sam Quek has spent her afternoon calling out people who said Liverpool would never win a trophy.

The 30-year-old field hockey player posted a thread on Twitter replying to a string of tweets about the Reds from the last six months.

After their 2-0 win over Tottenham in Madrid on June 1, the team have lifted the Champions League trophy and brought it home to the city with a victory parade which drew crowds of 750,000 people.

Armed with her hashtag #6Times, Sam was ready to revisit a few of the Twitter users who slated the team and said Klopp was 'rubbish'.

She said: "Over the last 6 months, if someone said Liverpool would win nothing or Klopp was rubbish, I sometimes saved the link to their tweet in my drafts for a later date...

"To all 15 or so in this thread... You ain’t so cocky now # LFC # YNWA # 6Times"

In May one asked her to "come back when your team actually win a trophy", today she replied: "Hi Alex, guess who's back..."

Another said in April: "Nobody cares about Liverpool, everyone watching City/Spurs and they were also irrelevant Sunday when everyone was watching Tiger (Woods), talking of irrelevant they will also be that at the end of season when they are trophyless."

Today Sam replied: "Hi Mark! Nobody cares and will end up trophy-less? You saw the parade for the UCL Trophy right or you want me to tag you in some videos? Hit me up."

A third person tweeted her a gif of a man searching with the caption: "Liverpool trying to win a trophy..."

Today, Sam said: "Hi Chris! We found one and it’s big, shines bright and has MASSIVE ears!"

Following their embarrassment, some have deleted their original Tweets, but Sam was there with the screenshots, telling one "Oh no you don't."

However, some conceded defeat, with one replying to Sam: "Okay I stand corrected there. Fair play - what an incredible season you lot have had."

Liverpool fans loved her responses.

One said: "Ruining people today," with a crying laughing emoji.

Another added: "Slay queen," while a third simply said: "owned !!!"
